Brewed Ginger Beer
I made ginger beer tonight and took photos. This is the cheap, quick, and easy version. Here's how it's done.
Ingredients #
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 lemon
- 1/4 teaspoon of yeast
- 2 tablespoons of powdered ginger
- tap water

Add ginger powder to cup.

Add boiling water stir and cover.

Strain out the ginger water.

Add lemon juice.

Add sugar and heat to disolve.

Divide hot concentrate between bottles and top with cold tap water.

Add yeast to warm water.

Mix in yeast and store in dark for 1 to 2 days to get fizzy.

Store in fridge to stop fermentation.
